Multilingual Ministry

Real-Time Church Translation in Ecuador

For Ecuadorian congregations receiving bilingual teams or multicultural families, SermonBridge helps ministries in Ecuador break down language barriers. Whether for occasional bilingual services, diaspora family visits, or international guests, listeners can hear the service in their own language simply by scanning a QR code—no expensive receiver hardware required.

Ministry context in Ecuador

During a service, conference, or training with participants from different countries, attendees can open SermonBridge through a link or QR code and choose available spoken audio or captions.

No dedicated hardware

No need to buy, maintain, or sanitize headsets or transmitters. Members and visitors listen through the device they already carry: their mobile phone.

Live translation and captions

The congregation receives spoken audio and real-time captions directly in their phone's browser, allowing them to actively participate in the service.

Direct access

The church shares a QR code or link. Listeners open the service in their browser and choose from the audio and caption options available for that session.

Multilingual Ministry

From pulpit to listener, in the direction you need

The church configures the preacher language and the listener languages available for that service. Each listener chooses from the options the church enabled.

01

A Spanish-speaking church welcomes other languages

A sermon preached in Spanish can be delivered as spoken audio and captions in the configured listener languages for visitors, teams, and families.

02

A Spanish speaker visits another service

When preaching uses another supported source language, a listener can select Spanish if the session offers it.

03

Voices for each session

When a language provides more than one voice, the church or listener can use the choices available for that experience.

“Each one heard them speaking in his own language.”
— Acts 2:6
Translation with biblical context

Protestant terminology designed for the pulpit

SermonBridge uses a curated Protestant and evangelical terminology database to preserve the meaning and register of preaching. The glossary guides biblical, doctrinal, and ministry vocabulary so a general-purpose translator does not substitute language from a different church context.

A clear example When the preacher says “pray” the Spanish translation says “orar,” not “rezar”

The same context covers terms such as sermon, preaching, the Lord’s Supper, worship, tithe, offering, discipleship, and altar call.

“
We believe the local church is strengthened when we remove the barriers that prevent people from clearly hearing the counsel of God's Word.

Common questions for churches in Ecuador

How do attendees listen to the service in Ecuador?

Audio is processed in the cloud and streamed directly to listeners' cell phones, who listen via their own cellular data or guest Wi-Fi.

Does translation only work from English to Spanish?

No. The church chooses from supported source languages and enables the listener languages needed for each session. Listeners only see options available for that service.

What is included in the premium sermon archive?

A church can publish completed sermons with search, original-language context, translated editions, study notes, resources, sharing, and PDF options when available.

Can a visitor pay for personal translation?

Yes. They can buy a personal packet and claim the minutes with the same email used for the purchase. That balance is personal and remains separate from any church plan.

Do we need to invest in radio equipment for the church?

No. SermonBridge is designed to be accessible using the devices people already have, ideal for regular meetings, diaspora family visits, or occasional bilingual events.

Who is behind SermonBridge?

SermonBridge is developed by the same team behind Consejería Hoy, a biblical counseling ministry serving churches in the US, Latin America, and the Hispanic diaspora.
