Therefore, brothers, be patient. Consider how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient until he receives the rain. Be patient, too, and strengthen your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is near.
Brothers, do not complain against one another, lest you be condemned. Behold, the judge stands at the door. Behold, we have blessed those who suffer. Have you heard of Job’s patience? And have you seen the Lord’s outcome—that the Lord is very merciful and compassionate?

Therefore, brothers, be patient until the Lord comes. Consider how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient until he receives the early and late rains. Late rain. Late rain. Late rain. Be patient, too, and strengthen your hearts, for the Lord’s coming is near.
